Loreto convent School Matunda, is a girls’and boys boarding and day secondary and primary school located in Matunda, Uasin Gishu County, along the Eldoret–Kitale road. It was established in 1980 by the Loreto Sisters (Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary) to provide quality education for girls in the Matunda area. But  because of the needs of the time the school has opened its doors to the boys and girls.
